Child Neuropsychiatry (unit)

The Child Neuropsychiatry Unit at the Mondino Institute is one of Lombardy’s three inpatient and care facilities devoted to neurological and psychiatric disorders in childhood and adolescence, affecting children and adolescents aged between one month and 18 years.
The Child Neuropsychiatry Unit is also a renowned centre at national level for its work with patients and their families, which is also done through outpatient activities and day hospital admissions before and/or after the patient’s hospitalisation.

Among the services offered during the stay, we evaluate, in each patient, the issue of compulsory schooling and school attendance (the high school continuation project is implemented in the event of hospital stays lasting more than 15 days).
